5-0, and Just Getting Started

The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Houston Rockets this past Tuesday with a season high, 128 points. With this win, they started the season off 4-0 for the first time in the past 16 years. Last night the Cavaliers grinded out a solid team win against the Boston Celtics, and enhanced their record to an emphatic 5-0. This is the first time that the Cavaliers have accomplished this in 40 years, and they do not plan on stopping yet. LeBron James led the team last night with a near triple double, and the game high 30 points. He was two points way from passing Hakeem Olajuwan for the 10th all time leader in points. Tristan Thompson continued his dominance with 15 points, and 14 rebounds. Another player that has kept his streak of authority alive, was Kyrie Irving who scored 23 and tossed 6 dimes along with it.

The Cavaliers shot a collective 61% from the three-point arc in the first half, and an impressive 41% by the end of the game. The one thing that the Cavaliers need to work on is the 1 on 1 defense, and they need to create more turnovers. This was an issue that was discussed with coach, Tyronn Lue during the post game press conference, and one thing that will have to be tweaked to stop the elite teams. With all that being said, the Cavs just ended a 3 game home stand and are back on the road this Saturday, November 5th against the Philadelphia 76ers.  For more information on the Cavaliers, make sure that you stay updated with our website, and we will continue to bring all of the Cavs stats and info that you need.

This is a short post-game soundbite from Kyrie Irving, talking about team chemistry and the Golden State Warriors.
