Cold Cavs, Bogut’s Bust.

The Cleveland Cavaliers fell to the Miami Heat Monday night in the Q 98-106. This game came two days after the two teams faced off in South Beach where Cleveland took another big L while playing without four of their starters (LeBron James,Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, and JR Smith.) Although it wasn’t enough, LeBron and Kyrie both still came out in full swing, scoring 32 with 17 rebounds and 32 with seven rebounds respectively.

The Cavs had an ice cold start and struggled to heat up all night, only showing strength in the fourth quarter cutting the deficit to 5 at the lowest, but could not manage to take the lead.

Perhaps the Heat were fueled by Saturday’s match up in Miami where some heated words were exchanged between both Cav’s JR Smith and Kyrie Irving and Heat’s Rodney McGruder and former Cavalier Dion Waiters. McGruder had a dunk late in the fourth over Channing Frye and following the dunk made an aggressive blow at Frye’s back. Smith was vocal about the hit and later directed his words at Waiters and had to be escorted out of the building by security.

On what was supposed to be a more positive note, freshly signed Cavalier Andrew Bogut made his debut. As highly anticipated as it was, Bogut more than failed to impress because, well, he only had a few seconds of game-play. In his first ten seconds he fouled and before he played even 60 seconds he sustained a left leg injury, fracturing his tibia.

Leading for the Heat was Goran Dragic with 21 points and six assists, Wayne Ellington with 18 points and Dion Waiters with 29 points.
