Disney Plus and Chill

If you love all things Disney – keep reading, if you don’t – keep reading because you still may be a fan of all the new and different content Disney Plus will be coming out with through their livestream service on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.

As if Disney is not already killing the game in the entertainment industry, they have found a way to go even further in their success. Disney Plus is not only a livestream service featuring much of Disney’s greatest films, they will also be featuring Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, National Geographic, and original content created by Disney Plus.

If that doesn’t have you hooked instantly, then you should also know that it will only be $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year to have access to some of your favorite childhood films, even dating back to one of my personal favorites, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs from 1937. Not to mention, other original Disney films such as Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Robin Hood and many more will be available at the swing of your wand (or remote, whichever). Not a fan of the Disney classics? Don’t worry, everyone loves the new Avengers: End Game and all things Star Wars, in which Disney will be releasing an original series called The Mandalorian. And if you’re still not into Marvel or Star Wars, that leaves Pixar and National Geographic – in which case you’d only be lying to yourself if you didn’t love animated films like Toy Story, Monsters Inc., or The Incredibles or the high-quality education National Geographic brings. Am I right?

There will also be one of WZIP and The University of Akron’s alumna involved in multiple projects with Disney Plus – actress, writer, producer, and aspiring back-up singer for Janet Jackson – the lovely and kind, Yvette Nicole Brown. She will be in both The Big Fib and the new live adaptation film of Lady and the Tramp. Who doesn’t love a movie about dogs from two different worlds falling in love? And the spaghetti scene? I know I’ll be sitting on my couch with a pint of ice cream in hand as soon as Disney Plus is released this Tuesday.
