Toledo narrowly defeat Miami to advance in the MAC Tournament.

The Toledo Rockets downed the Miami RedHawks at Quicken Loans Arena to advance to the Semi-finals of the MAC Tournament. The final score was 71-69. Jaelan Sanford lead scoring with 21 points.
Nike Subande and Darrian Ringo of Miami fought hard to keep the game close, scoring 20 and 19 respectively. The rest of the starting five for Miami turned in a disappointing 13 points, which is likely to blame for the team coming up just a bucket short. The Redhawks also shot significantly better from beyond the arc, further adding to the question marks surrounding their defeat. Their performance was not enough to silence the lights out shooting of Sanford.
