Album of the Week- Future Nostalgia
Just a few short weeks ago, Dua Lipa released her studio album, Future Nostalgia. The singer originally took to twitter to announce that the album would be released on April 3, however, the drop date came one week early. Lipa went live on her Instagram to announce that she was going to move up the album’s drop date after it had reportedly been leaked. She announced the new debut date and expressed her hope that it would bring about joy and happiness during the global coronavirus pandemic. The album features 11 new songs, all of which center around and discuss the topic of relationships. Her most popular song on the album, “Don’t Start Now”, was released in November of 2019 and has since become Lipa’s highest-charting song, catching extreme popularity on the trending social media platform, TikTok. Other top hits from the album include “Physical”, a single released in January of 2020, as well as “Break My Heart”.
